MerloBioEngineering was present at the 11th congress of the LIMPE-DISMOV Society, held in the beautiful setting of Rome on May 14-16, 2025.
Our scientific contribution
Kudos to Dr. Lorenzo Cavazzuti, physiotherapist and researcher from the LAM – Motion Analysis Laboratory of the Azienda USL-IRCCS of Reggio Emilia. In collaboration with Dr. Isabella Campanini and Dr. Andrea Merlo, he presented the preliminary results of a study on the analysis of spatiotemporal gait characteristics in patients with GBA and non-mutated Parkinson’s disease in a poster session.
A team effort
The study was conducted in close collaboration with the team of the Movement Disorders Center, led by Dr. Francesco Cavallieri, with whom we have maintained a productive partnership for two years. The congress provided an opportunity to update ourselves on the latest research related to Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, as well as to strengthen and expand our research collaborations.
